Melissa Baptiste, PT, MSPT, WCS, CSCS, CLT-UE
Melissa graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Exercise Physiology in 2005 and received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Florida International University in 2007. Since graduating, Melissa has had experience treating patients in a variety of clinical settings with focus on orthopaedics, sports medicine, and women’s health.
Melissa’s passion in women’s health and fitness has led her to become a board-certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, a strength and conditioning specialist, and a pilates instructor.
Her clinical interests are musculoskeletal disorders, pelvic pain, bladder and bowel dysfunctions, pelvic floor disorder, sexual dysfunction, and pre/post-partum rehab. She utilizes a variety of advanced manual therapy techniques and movement re-education for a holistic approach to achieving successful outcomes for her patients.
