Ariel Derringer, CNM
Ariel Derringer graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1991. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Yale University in 1996 and has been a Certified Nurse-Midwife since. It was her life-long love of babies and teens and her fascination with the changing body and miracle of life that energized Ariel to become a midwife. She dedicates time during visits to explore patients’ concerns and questions in order to best care for them and to help them care for themselves. Her greatest goal after the safety and health of her patients is ensuring women to feel empowered and satisfied with their care and birth experience. Ariel is inspired by her clients every day and feels blessed to be part of their lives in such a profound and meaningful way. Ariel is married to her husband Coby and loves being mom to their two boys. She enjoys bringing her family and friends together, volunteering in her community, and listening to birth stories of anyone who wants to share theirs with her.
