Kelly Chaplin, PT, DPT, CLT
Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis and her doctorate in physical therapy from Washington University’s Physical Therapy Program in 2011. She is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Oncologic Physical Therapy as a well as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. She has extensive outpatient physical therapy experience with lower extremity dysfunction, including low back pain, hip pain, sacroiliac joint pain, and abdominal pain. She is an associated faculty member at Northwestern University physical therapy program. She is a co-author of hematological malignancy chapter in Oncology Rehabilitation: A Comprehensive Guidebook for Clinicians, 1st edition and has led continuing education courses for considerations during cancer rehabilitation.
Chaplin focused on pelvic health rehabilitation in 2019, including post-partum rehabilitation, pelvic pain during pregnancy, abdominal pain, prolapse, gynecological oncological complications, bowel/bladder dysfunction, and incontinence. She understands the close relationship between pelvic floor dysfunction and cancer rehabilitation, and plans to use her training in multiple areas to provide comprehensive physical therapy for her patients.
