Lia Moss, CNM

Lia Moss graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health.  She went on to study at the University of Illinois, Chicago, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005.  After seeing her first birth with a midwife as a young nursing student, she was hooked! She then went on to get her Master of Science in Nursing and became a Nurse-Midwife in 2010.  Through her years as a nurse and a midwife, she has valued building relationships with patients, educating young women about their bodies and sexuality, providing contraceptive counseling and being present with women as their families grow. Lia strives to make both the office and hospital a safe and comfortable environment for women, and to share in and be an active participant in their care.  Outside of work, Lia enjoys exploring the city’s neighborhoods, parks and cultural offerings with her husband and two young sons.
