Amy Willetts, CNM

Amy Willetts graduated from the University of Michigan Nursing School in 1986.  She worked for three years as an oncology nurse at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago.  She received her Master of Science in Nursing from University of Illinois, Chicago, in 1998.  Since then, she has been a Certified Nurse-Midwife at Northwestern.  Amy strives to provide her patients with a safe setting, to promote health and well-being of each individual and family. She works hard to help patients leave the office having had a positive experience in this area of health care that is often fraught with fear and anxiety.  Amy enjoys guiding women through pregnancy and helping them achieve a safe and nurturing birth experience. She also likes working with very young women/girls as they begin to explore their sexuality and promotes safety and empowerment as they grow into adulthood.  Amy enjoys spending time traveling to visit her two adult children, family and friends.
