Victoria Yeisley, PT, DPT
Victoria graduated in 2005 from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with her B.S. in Kinesiology; during her undergraduate time, she studied Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in Australia for a semester abroad. She went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Boston University in 2008. She has been a pelvic floor specialist since 2008, focusing all of her energy on treating the female patient with the emphasis on perinatal care. Her passion lies in treating all pelvic conditions including pelvic girdle pain (low back, hip, groin, abdominal), pregnancy and post-partum musculoskeletal issues, pain with intercourse and pelvic floor dysfunction (urinary incontinence, urinary urgency/frequency, painful bladder syndrome, fecal incontinence).
Victoria has enhanced her skills through continuing education training through the Herman & Wallace Rehabilitation Institute, as well as with Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has studied pre/post-natal yoga and Pilates, as she believes that practice of painfree movement is essential in all rehabilitation. Victoria has been trained in various manual medicine techniques including trigger point dry needling to further enhance the treatment of her patients. She is an advocate for pelvic floor dysfunction, as she is often working with other organizations to help spread awareness and education about pelvic floor dysfunction, including collaborating with the National Association For Continence.
